On August 6, 2025, the 2nd China Weihai International Cartoon Art Exhibition and the Red Man Award International Cartoon Master Boutique Exhibition opened at the Bi Keguan Art Museum in "Cartoon Village", Dashuibo Town, Weihai City. The exhibition showcases over 150 works by world-renowned cartoonists and illustrators from more than 50 countries and regions across five continents: Asia, Europe, Africa, North America, and South America. These works are either elegant and lively, imaginative and boundless, exquisite and delicate, or distinctive in personality. Their artistic and creative qualities are perfectly unified, and they are unparalleled in brilliance!
At the opening ceremony, the attending guests and leaders presented art consultant certificates to seven comic artists (ZHU CHENG \ JIN XIAOXING \ YAN WEI \ SHANG JUN \ SHEN HONGLI \ ZHAO YUEYING ).
The Bi Keguan Art Museum, located in the village, was formerly an abandoned granary in the village. Since its completion in 2020, the art museum has hosted over 20 high-level exhibitions and cultural events, including the first China Weihai International Comic Exhibition and the China (Weihai) Original Animation Exhibition.
The first FECO.CHINA Conference was successfully held at the Bikeguan Art Museum in Weihai, China! The successful convening of this conference on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the birth of the FECO is of historical significance!
FECO.CHINA has specially awarded the "Outstanding Cartoonists" award to five cartoon artists (JIN XIAOXING, YAN WEI, HANG JUN, SHEN HONGLI, ZHAO YUEYING) who have frequently won awards in the international cartoon competition over the past 11 years!
Mr. Peter Nieuwendijk, President of the FECO, Ms. Marina Fowler, Vice President, and Mr. Bernard Bouton, Vice President, learned that this exhibition event will be held in Weihai, China. They were very happy and excited to send their congratulatory speeches, expressing their great joy for China and hoping to come to China in the near future.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the FECO, and FECO. CHINA is an important branch of FECO. The achievements of Chinese cartoonists in the world cartoon industry are evident. In the 11 years since its establishment, FECO. CHINA has leveraged its organizational advantages, actively contacted and communicated with cartoon organizations around the world, and promoted exchanges and cooperation between Chinese cartoonists and world cartoonists! Continuously recommend international cartoonists competitions, exhibitions, and other activities to Chinese cartoonists artists, and continuously recommend excellent Chinese cartoonists artists and works to the international cartoon industry. At the same time, actively introducing international cartoon competitions, international cartoon organizations, and international cartoonists to China, allowing Chinese cartoonists to have a better understanding of cartoonist friends and their works from around the world, and promoting domestic and international exchanges and communication.
For 11 years, members of the FECO. CHINA have adhered to their original aspirations, worked hard, valued high-quality creation, and produced numerous excellent cartoon works. Like peace doves flying to various countries around the world, they have become ambassadors for cultural exchange between China and foreign countries! As members of the cartoon community compete for gold and silver in the international cartoon arena, they are also spreading China's excellent cultural and artistic spirit, becoming a window for the world to understand China.
In the future, the World Federation of Cartoonists China Alliance (FECO. CHINA) will continue to participate deeply in international and domestic cartoon competitions and exhibitions, deepen cooperation with various organizational units, showcase excellent works, and promote international exchanges and cooperation!
